Rev. Dr. Mark Teasdale, E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary, led the Missouri Annual Conference of the UMC through the “Evangelism Equation” from his book Evangelism for Non-Evangelists. In this two-part series, Dr. Teasdale starts at the beginning, examining the current, cultural (sometimes negative) understanding of evangelism, and looks at practices of evangelism that focus more on authentic faith-sharing and active listening that respects and cares for the whole person.
