Brady Ward received the 2025 Foundation for Evangelism Laity Award from the Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church for his work to create a community space that encourages prayer and rest. Through the prayer garden at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Waldorf, Maryland, which Ward designed, community members are able to connect to the church and be guided in prayer through signage, seating, and a tranquil setting.
