OUR
WORK
Evangelism is our priority
Always be ready to give the reason for the hope you have and do it with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15)
The Foundation offers grants which support the ministry of evangelism in the eight largest Wesleyan-tradition denominations in the United States and with strategic Wesleyan-tradition partners around the globe.
The essence of evangelism is sharing the good news that God loves everyone and offers each person forgiveness and a new life through Jesus Christ.
Many Christian disciples love God and want to share their faith with people they know, but they often feel unprepared or lack confidence. The Foundation for Evangelism’s purpose is to ensure that Wesleyan-tradition congregational leaders are trained, congregations are equipped, and laity are prepared to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We do this through grants in three focus areas that strategically facilitate our overall purpose of molding evangelistic Wesleyan movements.
