Discipleship - Participating in Abundant Life
Date: Nov. 20, 2023
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm Eastern
Did you Attend the Session on Nov. 20? Interested in receiving a free copy of the book for you and your congregation?
The Laity are critical for the church to reach its community, but too often aren’t empowered to talk about their faith or fully participate in inviting others into life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. By focusing on “Abundant Life”, we can better understand what God wants to save us from and how holistically God wants to bless us.
In this 90-minute session, author Mark Teasdale (Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary) and Heather Lear (Vice President for Grants, The Foundation for Evangelism) team up to offer laity valuable encouragement and resources to examine their individual efforts as well as their church’s ministries through tools for “Metrics for Salvation.” Participants will have the chance to receive a free book and leader’s guide following the forum. At the conclusion they will be invited to gather a team from their church to participate in an online course or cohort together or consider applying for an Equipping the Local Church Grant from The Foundation for Evangelism.
