Your gift of crypto supports The Foundation for Evangelism’s grants and resources, maximizing our ability to be a catalyst for local church evangelism! We accept gifts of Bitcoin, Etherium or any one of over 100 cryptocurrencies. When you gift cryptocurrency, you do not recognize capital gains from the donation and you can deduct it on your taxes.

Crypto donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent possible if you pay taxes in the U.S. They are one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. By making a crypto donation, you may also be eligible to reduce what you would owe in capital gains taxes. That’s because donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event*, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes.

After finalizing your gift you can choose to receive an automatically generated tax receipt sent by email to the address you provide. Additionally, our staff will issue a cumulative gift receipt at the close of the calendar year. These receipts serve as your confirmation for tax purposes.
