Dr. Bryan Sibley, a board certified pediatrician, received the Harry Denman Evangelism Award from the Louisiana Conference of The United Methodist Church in 2019. As a Certified Lay Minister he has served as a supply pastor, leading worship and preaching two Sundays monthly. He has taught at the Louisiana Conference License to Preach School and has been a speaker at various events throughout the Acadiana District.
Active at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, LA, for over 25 years, Dr. Sibley has served in many roles including lay leader, liturgist, teacher, and committee member. He was also a member of several medical mission teams to Mexico and Peru.
Among the many “hats” that Dr. Sibley wears, “author” is one of them. His book, God First – Setting Life’s Priorities, was published in 2016 which relates his own faith journey, leading the reader in developing and strengthening their own Christian faith through scripture, relatable stories and applicable practices.
