The Foundation for Evangelism celebrates persons throughout The United Methodist Church, both clergy and laity, who are helping all persons to experience the transforming love of God through Jesus Christ.

To recognize these individuals and to give others the opportunity to learn from these leaders, we join each year with annual conferences throughout the country to name The Harry Denman Evangelism Award winners and annually recognize the Distinguished Evangelist of The United Methodist Church at the Foundation's Annual Banquet.

Through these efforts, we continue to strive to support the development of leaders who will have a multiplying evangelist impact on The United Methodist Church.
