Providing venture capital to develop leaders with a passion for evangelism who will have a multiplying impact on The United Methodist Church.

The Foundation for Evangelism is pleased to announce the 2009 Venture Capital Grant recipients:

    Young Pastors Network   $50,000 grant

    Path One  $100,000 grant

    Lewis Learning Communities $50,000 grant

    West Ohio Conference Residency $50,000 grant

The Foundation for Evangelism's Venture Capital Grant Program is designed to encourage institutions, organizations, and other entities of The United Methodist Church to envision and plan for the long-term development of the leaders who will guide our denomination into the future.

In 2009, the Foundation is providing grants to support:

  • E. Stanley Jones Professors of Evangelism
  • Duke Divinity School – ThD program in Evangelism
  • Asbury Theological Seminary – PhD program in Evangelism
  • General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church – Distinguished Evangelist in Residence
  • Denman Fellowships
  • Princeton Theological Seminary – the Timothy Scholars Program
  • Council on Evangelism – Congress for Evangelism Scholarships
  • Discover God’s Call
  • The Youth Worker Movement
  • Refresh Conference
