The Evangelism Network
Purpose
The purpose of The Evangelism Network is to encourage and enable the use of technology in the Church to provide Christian community, resources, learning, and connections in the Wesleyan model of "Offering Christ" in the digital age. This is primarily accomplished through building websites using innovative and open-source web software.
History
The Evangelism Network was launched August 1, 2004 by The Foundation for Evangelism with 4 staff members. The first year of operation saw the Youth Worker Movement web community and High Point District website launched. Concepts were dreamed for various other projects including an evangelism resource portal and a blog about evangelism which included contributions from Rev. Ken Carder.
