Many persons have bank accounts, certificates of deposit or brokerage accounts that they share with another person.  These are often held as “payable on death” or “POD” accounts.  Such accounts distribute the funds remaining in those accounts at death to the other account holder outside of a will or living trust.  

POD accounts can also be used to make gifts to The Foundation for Evangelism.  If you wish to make such a gift, you can contact your bank, broker or other financial institution and request that The Foundation for Evangelism be listed as a POD beneficiary or that The Foundation for Evangelism be named as a beneficiary in the event that another beneficiary on the account fails to survive you.  In either case, the accounts should identify The Foundation as “The Foundation for Evangelism, Lake Junaluska, North Carolina” in order to ensure that The Foundation for Evangelism receives your gift.
